General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the use of services of the Kron Ski School.


1. General, scope of application

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, these General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all transactions between the Kron Ski School and persons who make use of the services of the Kron Ski School (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer"). They are also the basis for all deliveries and services of Kron Ski School and Kron GmbH based on online orders via the Internet or other online services.

The version valid at the time of conclusion of the contract shall apply.

The object of the company is the operation of a snow sports school (ski school) and ski rental. This includes services such as the provision of instruction in the skills and knowledge of snow sports, in particular skiing and snowboarding (without guarantee of a specific training success) as well as the guiding and accompanying of snow sports, in particular skiing and snowboarding, and the rental of ski and snowboard equipment.

2. Order and Contract Conclusion

Reservations for private and group courses can be made via the Internet, by e-mail or online form or by telephone. Reservations are only deemed to be firmly booked after written confirmation by the Kron Ski School.

The offers of the Kron Ski School are subject to change. Only our written order confirmations are authoritative for the acceptance of the reservation and the scope of the service. Verbal or telephone collateral agreements are only valid if expressly confirmed in writing by Kron Ski School.

If a contract is concluded on site at the premises of the Kron Ski School, a contractual relationship is only established upon payment of the desired service.


3. Prices

All prices quoted by Kron Ski School are in euros and, unless otherwise agreed, include the statutory value added tax. Price lists are without guarantee. No liability is accepted for printing errors.

The use of the ski-lift is not included in the price.


4. Method of payment

The customer is offered the following payment options to pay for the services ordered via the online store:

•    Payment by credit card (Visa and Mastercard) 
•    Apple Pay
•    Google Pay 

The customer is offered the following payment options to pay for the desired services in the business premises of the Kron Ski School 

•    Payment by credit card (Visa and Mastercard)
•    Payment by EC Maestro card
•    Cash payment

Credit card payments in favor of the ski school are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as TREKKSOFT TOUR BOOKING on your credit card statement. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT. Please send an e-mail to support(at)payyo.ch for all inquiries regarding your credit card payments and chargebacks.


5. General terms of participation

If a group is reduced to less than 4 participants, the Kron Ski School reserves the right to merge the groups or to shorten the time of the lessons.

If the minimum number of course participants is not reached, the Kron Ski School reserves the right to make changes.

Multiple instructor changes are possible due to the flexible organization.

Courses always start on Sundays and Mondays. Course participants can join the courses every day, provided their ability matches the different standards of the groups.

If there is no suitable group for the ability of a course participant, the monetary value of the course can be transferred to private lessons or other services offered by the Kron Ski School (e.g. ski rental) (the scheduling of private lessons is determined by the Kron Ski School).

The grouping of ski courses is managed by the Kron Ski School. Should it be necessary to downgrade a participant, the customer must comply with this decision. Otherwise, the Kron Ski School is entitled to terminate the contract.

If course participants arrive late for lessons, the lost time will not be made up. If course participants do not show up for lessons, the course will be forfeited.

Courses start at the meeting points specified by the Kron ski school. You can find exact information on where the meeting points are located on our homepage www.kronschool.com and in our sales points. If course participants do not arrive at the meeting point or arrive too late, the course will be forfeited or the lost time will not be compensated.

If course participants do not follow the instructions of the ski instructors and other supervisors of the Kron Ski School, the Kron Ski School reserves the right to exclude the course participant for safety reasons.


6. Rental and reservation of ski and snowboard equipment and ski depots

Each renter is liable for the proper return of the equipment up to the amount of the sales value of the rented products.

Equipment must be returned to the rental store where it was rented. Unless otherwise agreed with Kron Ski School ski rental.

The customer is obliged to truthfully state their weight, height and skill level so that the bindings can be adjusted according to the standard.

The rental provider is entitled to demand a security deposit in the form of a document (passport, identity card, driver's license) or a deposit. The deposit does not constitute a possible purchase price for the equipment.

Should the renter of ski depots be denied access to the ski depots due to weather-related influences (force majeure) or breakdowns of the cable car and lift facilities, the Kron Ski School is not obliged to deliver items that are in the ski depot.

The Kron Ski School is not liable for valuables stored in the ski depots.


7. Liability

The Kron Ski School accepts no liability for accidents that occur during, before or after ski and snowboard lessons. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the course participants.

The customer must inform the Kron Ski School truthfully and comprehensively about his skills and experience in connection with snow sports. The Customer must also inform the Kron Ski School comprehensively about his/her state of health and any ailments.

The services provided by the Kron Ski School can place high demands on the material as well as on the physical fitness and skiing technique of the participant at every skill level. Each customer is therefore requested to ensure that he or the participants for whom he has booked the course only participate in the booked services with properly maintained sports equipment and the usual prescribed safety equipment. The customer must realistically assess their own ability.

The customer is advised that not wearing a crash helmet in the event of injury may constitute contributory negligence on the part of the course participant, which is why it is recommended that a crash helmet and other safety equipment recommended for the booked service be worn.


8. Withdrawal / Terms of Cancellation

The customer is entitled to withdraw from the concluded contract against payment of the cancellation costs listed below.

In the event of a withdrawal by the customer, the Kron Ski School is entitled to charge the following cancellation costs:

•    up to 14 days before the start of the booked service: we charge a processing fee of Euro 30.00
•    from 14 days before the start or during the booked service: 100 percent of the agreed total price (this also applies if the booked service is not used)

The above-mentioned deadlines also apply in the event of a partial cancellation of the booked service. The date of receipt of the declaration of withdrawal by the Kron Ski School is decisive.

For private and group courses, a refund of payments already made is only possible in the event of accident or illness, with a medical certificate from a local doctor. Only unused days (difference) will be refunded.

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance or ski insurance so that you will be reimbursed by your travel insurance in the event that your booking is canceled for important reasons.

Canceled courses due to weather-related influences (force majeure) or breakdowns of the cable car and lift facilities will not be reimbursed.

Courses take place in all weathers. The course ticket is non-transferable, unused course days are forfeited. 


9. Warranty

The Kron Ski School guarantees the customer that the booked service corresponds to the contract, but without guaranteeing the customer any success.


10. Online content

Skischool Kron (hereinafter referred to as the "author") accepts no liability for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author relating to material or immaterial damage caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect or incomplete information are fundamentally excluded, unless there is evidence of wilful intent or gross negligence on the part of the author.

All offers are subject to change and non-binding. The author expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the pages or the entire offer without prior notice or to cease publication temporarily or permanently.


11. References and links

In the case of direct or indirect references to external websites ("links") that lie outside the author's area of responsibility, a liability obligation would only come into force in the event that the author is aware of the content and it would be technically possible and reasonable for the author to prevent use in the event of illegal content.

The author hereby expressly declares that no illegal content was recognizable on the linked pages at the time the links were created. The author has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design, content or authorship of the linked pages. Therefore, the author hereby expressly distances himself from all contents of all linked pages that were changed after the link was created. This statement applies to all links and references set within the author's own website as well as to third-party entries in guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists set up by the author.

Liability for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and in particular for damages resulting from the use or non-use of such information lies solely with the provider of the page to which reference is made, and not with the person who merely refers to the respective publication via links.


12. Copyright and Trademarking

The author endeavors to observe the copyrights of the graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts used in all publications, to use graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts created by himself or to use license-free graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts.

All brands and trademarks mentioned on the website and possibly protected by third parties are subject without restriction to the provisions of the applicable trademark law and the ownership rights of the respective registered owners. The mere mention of a trademark does not imply that it is not protected by third-party rights.

The copyright for published objects created by the author himself remains solely with the author of the pages. Any duplication or use of objects such as diagrams, sounds or texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the author's agreement.

The Kron Ski School reserves the right to use any image material for marketing purposes. You can revoke your permission to use the images at any time by sending us an e-mail.


13. Jurisdiction, place of fulfilment and applicable law

The place of performance for deliveries, services and payments is the registered office of the Kron Ski School in the municipality of I-39030 Valdaora.

The competent court at the registered office of the Kron Ski School shall have exclusive jurisdiction to decide on all disputes arising from this contract. Italian law shall apply. The contract language is German. 


14. Legal validity

Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions and the entire legal transaction. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
